BIOGRAPHY



Vittorio Bustaffa
(1972), painter and illustrator, graduated in Art at the Arts Academy of Venice.

In 1995 he received the second prize in occasion of the national contest “Comoedia 2000”, at the
Florentine Dante’s Union in Florence.

Up to the year 2004 he took part in both collective and personal exhibitions of painting and illustration
in several Italian towns and abroad: Milan, Venice, Paris, Dordrecht (Holland), Springfield (U.S.A.).

In the field of publishing, Bustaffa illustrated books for many publishing houses like Nuages, Bruno Mondadori,
Diabasis, MUP, Ponte del Sale, MobyDick, Teorema, Tunué, Il Margine, Limina Mentis and others, broaching
subjects of authors like Virgilio, Catullo, Hardy, Artaud, Dickinson and Gomez Davila.

Moreover he’s involved in Concept-art as concerns cinematographic, architectural and video - ludic works.
He cooperates steadily with the communication
agency “Tostapane” in Venice, with the art gallery
“Studio Art Calcagno” in Venice
, and the art gallery “Matita & China” in Padua and he’s teacher of
painting technique at the
“International School of Comics” in Padua.
